Deep Impact To Stand For Y30-Million

Japanese champion sire Deep Impact (Jpn) will stand for ¥30-million (£215,044/€252,145/$267,107) at Shadai Stallion Station in 2017, according to Racing Post. The 14-year-old, who covered 230 mares this year, is booked full for next year.

Deep Impact is the sire of 27 Group 1 winners, which this year include Satuski Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas) winner Dee Majesty (Jpn), Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) winner Makahiki (Jpn), Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks) winner Sinhalite (Jpn), Kikuka Sho (Japanese St Leger) winner Satono Diamond (Jpn), G1 Prix d'Ispahan winner A Shin Hikari (Jpn) and G1 Dubai Turf winner Real Steel (Jpn).

Also already booked full at Shadai are King Kamehameha (Jpn) (¥10-million) and his sons Duramente (Jpn) and Rulership (Jpn), both at ¥4-million.
