In front soon after, the 100,000gns TATOCT yearling readily asserted to win by 1/2 lengths from the Charlie Appleby-trained D'bai (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}), the full-brother to Dubawi Gold (GB) who made eye-catching late headway. “The way he works in the morning, he shows some class,” trainer Saeed bin Suroor commented. “Seven furlongs is the trip for him at the moment and, so far, I'm happy with him. I think in the future he can go further. Maybe we will take him to Goodwood for the seven-furlong Group Two [the July 26 Vintage S.] at the end of this month or maybe to Sandown for the [G3] Solario [S. Aug. 20].
