Uncle Mo (Indian Charlie)'s fee was raised to $150,000, up from $75,000 in 2016, Coolmore America announced Monday. The sire of 2016 GI Kentucky Derby hero Nyquist, GI Wood Memorial S. winner Outwork, and GI Darley Alcibiades S. heroine Gomo, has already accrued 21 stakes winners and almost $15 million in progeny earnings with his oldest foals only 3-year-olds.
In addition to Uncle Mo, new additions to the 2017 roster include European MG1SW Air Force Blue (War Front), who will stand for an introductory fee of $25,000 and Australian G1 Golden Slipper S. hero Vancouver (Aus) (Medaglia d'Oro).
Triple Crown winner American Pharoah (Pioneerof the Nile), who stood for $200,000 in 2016, is now listed as private, while Ashford Stud stalwarts Giant's Causeway (Storm Cat) will stand for $75,000 and Tale of the Cat (Storm Cat) is advertised at $30,000.
