We the Clouds (2, f, Constitution–Cloudy Vow, by Broken Vow) came from just off the pace to get off the mark in Keeneland's seventh race Friday. Settled behind pacesetter One Step (Wicked Strong), who carved out opening fractions of :22.81 and :46.84, the Patricia Pavlish homebred rounded the home turn four wide, strode to the front midstretch and drew clear to win by a widening four-length margin. 11-1 chance Spartanka (Street Sense) closed to finish second, while Snaffle (Distorted Humor) was third.
