Bode's Dream remained undefeated and returned strongly off a six-month layoff with a frontrunning score in the sloppy House Party S. at Gulfstream.

Graduating first out at 1-5 here May 11, the gray followed up with a pacesetting score in the Astoria S. June 9 at Belmont and took a lot of early play in this spot before drifting up to a distant second choice. Breaking on top, she showed the way through a :22.48 quarter while pressed by Wildcat Kate and the two of them went well clear from the rest of the pack heading into the turn. Bode's Dream began to shake loose from her pursuer approaching the top of the lane and splashed home without a serious threat. Brahms Cat ran on late to get third, while even-money favorite Yes I'll Go (Yes It's True), who aired by nine lengths on debut with a 90 Beyer, broke a beat slowly and finished a dull fifth.

The winner's dam has a yearling colt by Violence who hammered down for $335,000 at Fasig-Tipton July and a weanling colt by Gemologist who brought $260,000 at Keeneland November. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
