Bin Ghadayer Banned One Year

Dubai-based trainer Salem bin Ghadayer, who trains primarily for Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed al Maktoum's Fazza Stables, has been banned one year after a horse under his care was found to have raced with prohibited substances in its system. High On Life (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) won at Jebel Ali on Jan. 26 but subsequently tested positive for Ketamine, Norketamine and Dehydronorketamine. Bin Ghadayer pleaded guilty but lodged an appeal, thus allowing him to keep training in the interim. He won Meydan's Saturday feature with Mailshot (Hard Spun).

Bin Ghadayer also has in his stable G2 Godolphin Mile hopeful Heavy Metal (GB) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), as well as G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen possible Yalta (Ire) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}).
