Bin Ghadayer Appeal Dismissed

UAE trainer Salem bin Ghadayer, who was banned for one year from Mar. 3, 2018 to midnight on Mar. 2, 2019 after a horse under his management was found to have raced with illegal substances in its system, had his appeal dismissed by the stewards on Mar. 19. Bin Ghadayer was able to train in the interim after he plead guilty but lodged an appeal, which the stewards heard on Mar. 18. The horse in question, High On Life (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), won a Jan. 26 Jebel Ali race, but subsequently tested positive for Ketamine, Norketamine and Dehydronorketamine.
