The chalk sat in a patient fourth against the inside as She's On the Line (Line of David) provided the perfect tow on the front end, through splits of :23.37 and :47.99. Angled off the rail turning for home, the chestnut pounced four wide up the center of the course after six panels in 1:12.66 and powered away to win in dominating fashion by 3 3/4 lengths. She's On the Line held on gamely to be second. The final time for the mile was 1:36.74.
