The breeders of Breeders' Cup winners will be presented with trophies for the 2016 world championships. Three Chimneys Farm is presenting sponsor of the Breeders' Edition trophies, which will be presented at Santa Anita's Champion Terrace following each winner's circle presentation.

“We are delighted that Three Chimneys Farm, which has established a remarkable record of leadership and success in the Thoroughbred bloodstock community, has made a firm commitment to sponsor the first Breeders Edition of the Breeders' Cup Trophy,” said Craig Fravel, Breeders' Cup President and CEO. “The breeders have been the foundation for the Breeders' Cup program since before our inception, and this new trophy is a fitting tribute to their vital contributions and sustenance to our Championships and to our industry.”

Three Chimneys owner Gonçalo Torrealba addded, “Three Chimneys is proud to be the inaugural sponsor of the Breeders' Edition of the 2016 Breeders' Cup World Championship Trophy. In my native Brazil, on our Championship Day of racing, the breeder as well as the owner is awarded a trophy. We find it only fitting that the lifeblood of our industry, the breeder, be recognized in such a significant manner. When the opportunity presented itself, it made the world of sense for Three Chimneys to be the sponsor of this prestigious award. We laud the Breeders' Cup for such forward thinking.”
