Based on the proprietary data calculated by Brisnet.com, Arrogate (Unbridled's Song)'s victory in the 2016 GI Breeders' Cup Classic has been deemed the top performance of the year. Owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms and trained by Bob Baffert, the 'TDN Rising Star' earned a speed rating of 115 and a class rating of 126.7 from Brisnet in defeating California Chrome (Lucky Pulpit) in front of a packed house at Santa Anita. “In a year filled with superlative performances, Arrogate's Breeders' Cup Classic stands tall as an effort that looks to have been good enough to defeat any other horse this year on his or her best day, with the possible exception of Arrogate's own Travers win,” Brisnet.com Director of Marketing Ed DeRosa said. Arrogate, who is expected to square off with California Chrome one final time in the GI Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park Jan. 28, is a finalist for Horse of the Year and champion 3-year-old male.
