A share in smart young sire Siyouni (Fr) (Pivotal {GB}) will be offered at arqanaonline.com from Jan. 11-12, Arqana announced Monday. The buyer will receive a free 2016 nomination to the sire, and , as it is an odd share, will receive an extra nomination in 2017 and every two years following. In 2015, two shares were offered in the sire of triple Group 1 winner and French Classic heroine Ervedya (Fr), each selling for €355,000, with the first going to England-based Hesmonds Stud of Nurlan Bizakov of Kazakhstan. The second went to the Irish branch of Merriebelle Stable, based in the United States. A leading sire of 2-year-olds in France in 2014, Siyouni has made a good start at stud with seven stakes winners, including G3 Prix des Reservoirs heroine Trixia (Fr).
