+THEORY OF CHANGE (f, 2, Archarcharch–Gal of Mine, by Mining) dismissed at odds of 7-1 despite her trainer's historical prowess with maidens on the grass, earned a narrow victory in her career debut on closing day at Saratoga. The dark bay posted a steady local worktab dating back to early June and was sent downstate to Belmont to finalize her preparations for this unveiling. Away without incident, she assumed position racing off the pace along the inside as Love the Kitten (Kitten's Joy) and Double Dose (Flatter) sparred through fractions of :24.39 and :49.39. Advancing along the rail as Miss Aja Brown (Big Brown) seized control turning for home, she unleashed a prolonged rally to get up by a head as that rival drifted out in deep stretch. The winner, the ninth for her freshman sire (by Arch), is a half to America America (Mister Baileys {GB}), MSW & GSP-US, MSP-Eng & SP-Ger, $403,050; and So Long George (Arch), GSW, $290,307. Dam Gal of Mine has a yearling filly by Paddy O'Prado and was bred to Point of Entry this spring. Sales history: $95,000 Ylg '14 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $49,800.
