Another War Front Millionaire

The action continued fast and furious as the clock turned three in Central Kentucky as the War Front and Tapit show continued at Keeneland September. Just four hips after Tapit's hip 614 ascended to the top of the leaderboard, a Hill 'n' Dale-consigned filly by War Front became the latest to reach seven figures when selling to bloodstock agent David Ingordo for an even $1 million. The bay filly, catalogued as hip 618, is a half-sister to TDN Rising Star Luminance (Tale of the Cat), herself a $320,000 graduate of the 2013 September sale and to the Scat Daddy colt Exhale, a $170,000 Keeneland November weanling who fetched $500,000 at last year's auction. Blandford Bloodstock acquired the dam Siren Serenade (Unbridled's Song) for $300,000 carrying Luminance at the 2012 Keeneland January sale. It was War Front's fourth million-dollar plus sale in the first three sessions.
