Mandy Pope gave $5.2 million for Betterbetterbetter (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton November Sale and sold a second seven-figure yearling out of the mare to Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum's Shadwell operation Wednesday afternoon at Keeneland. Pope sold the War Front filly the mare was carrying to Shadwell for $1.45 million at the 2015 September sale and nearly repeated the dose Wednesday, selling a full-sister for $1.2 million. Group 3-placed in Ireland, Betterbetterbetter is a half-sister to the champion and Group 1-winning Sadler's Wells full-sisters Yesterday (Ire) and Quarter Moon (Ire) as well as Group 1-placed All My Loving (Ire) (Sadler's Wells) and SP Magicalmysterytour (Sadler's Wells). Hip 696 is the fifth yearling by War Front to fetch better than $1 million over the first three days of the sale. Hip 696 is bred on the same cross as Group 1 winners Roly Poly and The Everest-bound U S Navy Flag.
