Lord Nelson (Pulpit) will be heavily favored to win his third straight Grade I when he takes on four rivals in Saturday's GI Santa Anita Sprint Championship S. The Spendthrift Farm colorbearer enters riding a three-race winning streak, headed by tallies in Santa Anita's GI Triple Bend S. June 25 and Del Mar's GI Bing Crosby S. July 31. Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert will also saddle the second choice in the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint 'Win and You're In' contest, in 'TDN Rising Star' Jazzy Times (Discreetly Mine). He removes the blinkers in his stakes debut off a runaway optional claiming tally at Del Mar July 31.
